Is the ketogenic diet the best method to lose weight and fat? Well, maybe but there’s a problem with it… Is not a long term solution diet and not a method that you can really follow for the rest of your life. One of the main reasons the ketogenic diet is so effective when it comes to weight loss is because you’re cutting out carbs. By cutting out carbs you automatically eliminate 4 calories per 1g of carbohydrate you’re eating per day. So if for example you’re eating 300g of carbohydrates per day and you decide to cut out those carbs then you automatically deduct 1200 calories from your overall calories of the day. We all know that the only way to lose weight is by being on a caloric deficit, therefore cutting out carbs makes the procedure a lot easier. Is the ketogenic the best diet to lose weight? From a long term solution prospective the answer is no. For a short term fast solution, the answer is yes.
