  2. I did ours with pork rinds (put through food processor) and used that new copper baking pan with the flat basket on a tray. Tasted great and the basket and tray cleaned up real easy. Going to try plain like yours next time. Looks great. Wonder if there is a hack recipe for the dry rub?

  3. I’m from Central America and for decades my ancestors have washed chicken and meats. Washing the chicken isn’t so much to kill bacteria as much as it to cancel out the awful smell chicken has. For someone that has traveled to many different countries that wash chicken and the ones that don’t, I can quickly pick up when someone doesn’t wash their chicken as the chicken has a rank scent when you eat it.

  7. Joanna is 100 % correct in her preparation techniques. She is protecting herself and her family from salmonella contamination. Believe me, a 450 oven will take care of it! The only thing I do different is I put on a pair of surgical gloves when handling chicken with my bare hands. I am sure Joanna did a good hand wash after she put the wings in the oven. She is not only very smart and capable, but she really loves her kids and her husband and wouldn't do anything that would make them sick. Give her a break guys!

  9. Who the hell washes their damn chicken? You do realize it's absolutely not necessary and you're actually increasing your risk for salmonella. Cooking it is what kills bacteria..Take a damn microbiology class before jumping all over her.

  10. We've used your technique for making wings a couple times now and they turn out sooooo good! My husband requests wings all the time now. I love how easy it is and how good/crispy they turn out. I will say that our oven must run hotter than yours because ours were definitely done around 30 minutes. I left them in longer the first time and we had some that we're getting burnt. Just a tip for others that try this recipe!
