  1. There is only 1 Torah.
    Deut @
32 So be careful to do what the Lord your God has commanded you; do not turn aside to the right or to the left. 33 Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess.

Life is found in the Torah
    Matt @
19 Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Life is found in the Torah only, Jesus teaches Torah.
    Matt @
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

Torah is Life. The New Testament is an invention of the Greeks and Romans.

  2. Why paul still kept the sabbath? To win converts from the jews!!! But when he is around with the gentiles it was not necessary to keep the sabbath, to the gentiles who dont have the law, 1 cor. 9:19-21!!!

  3. At 45:52 Chris said that the disciples were together again "a week later" on a second Sunday. But John 20:26 says that it was "eight" days later (see KJV) which means that Jesus appeared to them the second time on a MONDAY (or second day of the week) and not on Sunday. Chris probably used the NIV which says "one week later" but the NIV mistranslates the greek wrong which actually says "okto hemera" meaning "eight days."

  4. Pastor Chris' teaching is solid getting down to the very foundation of the Christian faith which paul preached, the gospel of grace apart from the law particularly the sabbath keeping. More power to you Ptr. Chris!!!

  5. Why give so much attention on the sabbath that even the jews could not keep it the reason why Jesus came to free us from the law that keeps accusing us of our sins? Paul said it is weak that it cannot change us for the better! Romans 8:1-4. Guys, move on. Obey the gospel that Paul preaches!!!!

  6. Am amazed at how people still argue that we need to stick to the law of the sabbath? If you read the instructions that came with the Sabbath, no one in this modern world would be able to obey it cos even driving ur car or ordering an Uber to take u to church on that day is a sin… Christ healed on the Sabbath day n when questioned, what did he say… Christ says let’s love for that is a fulfillment of the law

  7. Apostate Protestantism has accepted this child of the Papacy, Sunday sacredness, and by accepting this creation of the Papacy, have become the daughters of the whore that rides the beast. They have now become the "false prophet" of which John prophesied in Revelation and soon will speak as a dragon, legislating Sunday laws, by their fornication with the kings of the earth. The lamb like beast of Revelation, the United States of America, will soon make an image to the beast that had a wound and now is healed (Papacy) and incur the wrath of God for betraying God and Christ our Saviour.

  8. The Bible says the old covenant that is the law had been done away. It is obsolete. It is replaced by a new one, Heb. 8. Therefore the observance of sabbath is no longer necessary. The law can deter a crime but cant change the heart. So why stick on the old when they are but shadows and Christ is the substance? Christ has already fulfilled the law by His death on the cross and arose from the grave. We need the Spirit of God to understand the spiritual things!!!!! Why settle on matters that are non essentials, has nothing to do with our salvation????? 2 Cor 5:17.. .

  9. The revelation is that in Yeshua (Jesus) all is justified. All is cleaned. Both sinners and “non sinners”. However sin still has complications not for salvation but for earthly well being. The faith in Jesus sacrifice is sufficient for all.

  10. Question: Whether the Sabbath was or was not done away with (canceled) by the death of the Messiah, is the word Sabbath or seventh day of creation referring to Saturday, and resurrection day referring to Sunday? Saturday is the day of Saturn and was the first day of the 8 day week on Julian calendar during the time of Christ, and later pushed forward to be the seventh day of the 7 day week on the papal Gregorian calendar that we follow today. I wonder if both Emperor Julius Ceaser and Pope Gregoire were led by the Holy Spirit quite enough to make their calendars in perfect harmony with the bible calendar that the messiah, the Jews, and the early Christians were following. From Genesis 1, God gives no names to the days except the seventh that he called sabbath. How do we know that the day on which God created the light (1rst day) is what had become Saturday (day of Saturn) under Julian calendar, or more precisely, Sunday (day of the sun) on the Gregorian calendar that we follow today?

  11. Act.25:7:-8. They had many serious complaints against Paul,, Which they COULD NOT PROVE .

Paul says He done Nothing against law of Jews, nor against Temple, Nor against Ceasar .

Even in Paul's letters they had No PROOF That Paul was teaching against the Laws of GOD..

2Pet.3:15:16 His letters are hard to understand that unlearn untaught men twist,,

Act.21: Falsely accused Paul again,, Rumours that he was teaching Jews, Not to CIRCUMCISED thier children,,, or Keep the customs of Moses.,,NO SUCH THING.

Act.11: Only problem they had was Circumcision,,

Act.16:Timothy had to get circumcised, because of Jews.
Galat.2:3 Titus was compelled to get circumcised.

1Corth.7:circumcision is nothing uncircumcision is nothing, Keeping Commandments of God matters.

Act.15: Circumcision to keep LAW OF MOSES.
Act.15:20 Comes from LAW OF MOSES,, start them with Lev.17:& Lev18:,,Lev.12:,,Lev.7:.,,Ex.22:,,Deut.12:,Lev.22:
15:21 Learn from SEAT OF MOSES every Sabbath day.

    Same teaching of Yahshua(Jesus) .
Matt.23:1-3 Observe and Do all that they teach you from the Seat of Moses..

  12. Quick point I just noticed it was the council of laodecia which originally changed the lords day from Saturday to Sunday and it is also laodecia which Jesus has the harshest rebuke for in the book of revelation

  13. Great debate – the intro alone let's you know who's who.

Jim Staley – based his position solely on Scripture. (He let the Word of God speak) 👍

Chris Rosebrough – based his position on worldly pleasures. (sound smart, impress girls, get a date, Mrs. Snodgrass wants a shiny new muscle car) 👎 It's clear who his message is directed towards.

  14. Another obedient vs lawlessness debate. Lawless people always read the Bible out of context. I believe the Bible is written perfectly to separate the wheat from the tares.
2Peter 3 16 He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
17 Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the **LAWLESSNESS** and fall from your secure position.

  15. What day did Christ died?
Friday afternoon near the preparation of the Sabbath right? Then Joseph of Arimathea buried him at the nearby garden? Then the Sabbath started, right? Meaning, Jesus rested from all his work on earth. Then the first day which is Sunday Jesus risen from the dead. And start his work showing himself to his disciples, before ascending back to heaven. What do you think about it?
So, anyone that do not believe in Jesus as the only begotten son of the living GOD, that he came to the world in flesh, and died on the cross for the sin of the world, and was risen in 3 days after his death then they are ANTICHRIST and they will not enter into HIS REST (HEAVEN) because of UNBELIEF. Read Hebrews Chapter 4

  16. Hebrews 4:1-11 <> King James Bible

    A Sabbath-Rest for God's People

    (Genesis 2:1-3; Exodus 16:22-36)

1Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.2For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

3For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

4For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.5And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. 6Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:

7Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

8For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. 9There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God didfrom his. 11Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

  17. Hebrews 3:7-11
    Do Not Harden Your Hearts

7Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,

8Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

9When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.

10Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.

11So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)

  18. Hebrews 3:12-19
    The Dangers of Unbelief

    12Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. 13But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

15While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

16For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses. 17But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? 18And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?19So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
