  1. i made 150 grams of whey powder out of 1L milk, is this possible? the only differnce from your method is that i don't have a dehydrator, so i boiled the whey and kept in steady heat until it became thick and clumpy.

  2. You didn't say how long the milk should stay over the heat before putting a lid on it and letting it stay off the heat for 20 mins. You just said heat it up to 180 degrees but I don't know when milk riches that point

  3. So, I can't make whey protein isolate?

Also, is the whey I get from straining my yogurt essentially the same (with cultures) and dehydratable?

Great video. Looked more like you muffins but that's ok. What I do with my cupcakes is beat the egg whites and fold them in at the end, but I don't mix too much because I don't want the gluten in the flour to activate much at all.

  4. This is totally wrong and stupid. What you get is powdered whey, but not whey protein. It contains a lot of carbs, so it is pretty useless as a protein source. In order to achieve a 80%-90% protein density you need to remove carbs and fat, which is a complicated process, not something you make at home on your stovetop.

  5. Hi. Thanks for your video. I didn't understand 2 things quite well. First, how long should we keep the milk above the heat and second, how long should we wait til the separation occurs.

  6. can u plz tell me the difference between this fast method and another slow method which depends on not heating the milk and leave for a couple of days then the whey is separated from curds ???
which method is better ? and why ?
