    When I start my run everything feels good, then usually around mile 4 I start to feel pain in hip around pectineus area and pain keeps growing. Around mile 6 I need to stop, because pain is too big. I do my cool down and stretching, then it feels a bit better, but for rest of the day pain is still there, especially when I pull my knee up. Next day it feels much better and I can go for a run again. And all the same things happen. In the start everything feels good, no problem at all, around mile 4 the pain starts… I tried to rest for a week , but after that the pain just started even faster and recovery was slower. So if I run more it seems to get better, but still troubling, because pain keeps coming back every run. I `ve been trying to figure out this, but just cant find the reason. nothing fits. Any ideas?

  4. When I try to stretch this area I feel a pinch and then a sharp pain on the inside of my calf. I assuming there is something wrong by the nerve but I don't know what to do. And I can't barely stretch it even lightly. Help.

  5. Thank you for this. I admit, I was exercising [doing knee high jogs in place] and I stretched earlier but didnt actually warm up. When my foot came down after about 12 repetitions of 8, I felt a sharp pain in my right hip, groin area. It has been 2 weeks now. Diclofenac helps with the inflamation but I notice when I'm relieved and I run or do any dancing or activity with that area that is in any way fast paced, it becomes so inflamed after to the point where I can't even put weight on my leg. Moving my leg outwards or even moving it forward to walk is extremely painful. I've had this pain before, AGAIN the last time was because I didnt warm up adequately, if at all. 

    It goes to show why instructors put so much stress on warming up. -_- Also, maybe this is why it's good to have personal trainers. Sometimes exercising on your own with high intensity exercises when you haven't done them in a while, can lead to injury. This is the 3rd time it has happened to me. 

  6. Hi Sebastian… Quick Question…is it dangerous medicine ball that area? You mention that a baseball could mess with the nerve (and I feel like I have had that sensation before)… but I have also head that you need to break up the scar tissue in that area… Thanks!
