    if you get micro cuts in your gums from flossing you can get inflammation in your body from bacteria travelling in your blood stream
    i use a mild dilution of peroxide and warm water in my water pic

  3. For years when I would go to the dentist, he would tell me, "The enamel on your front teeth is getting thinner and thinner. Are you eating a lot of citrus or eating some acidic food or drink?" When I told him that I would drink the juice of a lemon in a pint of water daily, he told me to stop doing that. I did not believe him and I continued on, only to end up with no enamel and two crowns and two veneers on my four front teeth. Citrus fruits are no joke for your teeth. Better to just not expose them to the acid, unless you want to end up paying for your dentist's boat.

  4. You have extreme fruit fear. Dr. Rick never admitted too much fruit was at all dangerous even though you tried your best to get him to admit that. Medical Medium recommends eating fruit for breakfast and not having celery juice as a main meal because the calories are negligible. If you have chronic illness you must have high fruit and vegetables not just one or the other. Fruit is extremely healing and has healed me from multiple chronic illnesses. ๐Ÿ™

Get that root canal removed it's basically a rotting tooth that contaminates your body and most likely causes any problems you still feel be it in your teeth or other parts of your body and ease up on your teeth routine, let them do the healing. I agree with most of your points, but overall i think you are doing too much.. Check the Movie "The Root Cause".

  8. Sorry John… your lifestyle is BEYOND a full time job…..it's just too much for the average normal human with family to do. Sure – we can all do some of these items to eat healthier…. but you sir are a bit over the top! Besides, genetics and luck play a much larger role than eating RAW in many many cases…..

John, I just watched a documentary about root canals and how when we get root canals it kills the life-force in the tooth so basically we just have a rotting body part (the tooth) left in the body leaving a space for bacteria to thrive and harm the body. The film is called "Root Cause" on Netflix interesting information for sure that I think you may enjoy. Thanks for making such awesome content you help motivate me with eating raw!

  11. I think what you said about the "water rich foods" ( @ 5:12 ) was the most important thing. I find that I feel a lot better when the food I eat has a lot of water in it, like fruits and veggies. I am not a big juice drinker any longer, I try mostly to eat stuff that is not processed, but I will also eat some meat too. My favorite thing to eat is a salad with oily fish, salmon or sardines. If I want to eat juice I use my blender these days, not my juicer. Also like to blend in ground flax seeds into my juice too. The hard part I think, and it might be for most of us is that we were born and raised a certain way and psychologically we have things that we are emotionally attached to like an addiction, and also habits that we have had our whole lives. Like ice cream, or certain processed foods and then also habits like eating late at night. For me it is not even so much as what I eat, I can eat a lot of good healthy things, it is NOT eating things I know I probably shouldn't, especially late at night. Ugh. I like Fuhrman's ideas, and yours, though I don't feel the raw idea is a necessity for me. One thing I think is important is to not lecture or attack people. No one really knows yet what the best diet is, or if there even is a best diet, or if there is what kind of marginal difference it makes in health and longevity. We do know what doesn't work, and that is eating the highly adulterated processed foods that make money for corporations that do not care if they kill us. They are the enemy as far as I am concerned.

  13. John, humans are FRUGIVORES. I thought you knew that. Fruit is the optimal food for our digestive tracts.. Except for lettuces and herbs, leafy greens like Kale are much harder to digest. The herbivores who can digest the greens like horses and cows have multiple stomachs.

    Also you should know that we've all been lied to about health and have wasted a TON of time focusing on individual isolate nutrients/ supplements when our G.I. tracts can't recognize them without the rest of the constituents in the food man has been extracting those nutrients from. The result is the isolate nutrients only stimulate but later enervate and can't be eliminated the way they would if you were eating the food they came from. Since they can't be eliminated you need to worry about free radicals being formed as your body will try to store them.. Dr Colin Campbell is the expert on the "nutrient scam". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rprs8hEdrVc . Everything you are trying to supplement your body with can be found in the Nature grown whole herbs with a better digestion and assimilation rate than for instance taking Vitamin B-12 which does NOT GROW IN NATURE. Vitamin B-12 is a fad. Since so called science is wrong so often and most studies are skewed to give the company paying for them the results they want, I take all so called scientific studies about health and nutrients with a grain of salt.

    ย Don't forget that whole herbs and weeds count as food and tender leafy greens and they are PACKED with nutrients. They have exponentially MORE NUTRIENTS than regular greens and vegetables sold in the grocery store

    . Perhaps we should all be looking at Nature grown herbs INSTEAD of man-made vitamin and mineral isolates. Why not have some herbalists on your videos? If the truth be told, herbs are a faster way to detox and improve health and giant amounts of them don't have to be consumed to reap a ton of benefits. Herbs like Slippery Elm, Nettles, Comfrey, Ginger, Dandelion and many more might be the better option for people to supplement their diets with which can be done by making teas, broths or adding to other food.
